Start with Poland
When planning a trip to Hainan, compare packages offered by Polish tour operators with independently booked flights. Start with departures from Warsaw, then check options from other Polish airports. Consider your arrival airport, the number of connections and the total journey time.
Package or independent flight?
A package sold by a Polish operator does not necessarily depart from Poland, and a departure from Warsaw does not necessarily mean a non-stop flight to Hainan. Before booking, check the complete itinerary, baggage terms, and the entry and transit requirements that apply to your citizenship. With separate tickets, establish who bears the risk of a missed connection.
Sanya or Haikou?
Compare both arrival airports against your intended base. Landing in Haikou does not mean a short transfer to a Sanya hotel. Include onward travel time and cost, arrival time and how you will reach your accommodation.
Departing from another country
If you are considering Prague or another airport outside Poland, include the cost and time of reaching the airport, any overnight stay and enough time before departure. Compare the cost of the whole journey, rather than the flight or package price alone. Confirm the current itinerary with the operator before buying.
